This Privacy Policy explains how Danish Khan ("we," "us") operates the ColorPicker: Grab Colours iOS application ("App") and how information may be handled when you use it.
1. Information We Collect
ColorPicker does not require account creation and does not directly collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or passwords through the App.
The App stores your saved colour palettes, automatic palette history, and app preferences locally on your device.
2. Local Device Storage
Colours you sample, palettes you save, and your palette history (including palette names, colour codes, and creation dates) are stored locally on your iPhone or iPad to provide core app functionality.
This data is under your device's control and is removed if you delete the App. Nothing is synced to a server or account.
3. Camera Access
The App requests camera access so you can capture a live photo, either to sample colours directly from it or to automatically extract its dominant colours. Photos captured are used only within the App on your device and are not transmitted anywhere.
4. Photo Library Access
The App requests permission to access your photo library so you can choose an existing photo to sample colours from. If you choose to export a palette as an image and save it via the share sheet, the App may separately request "Add Only" permission to add that image to your Photos library. The App does not browse or access any other photos on your device beyond what you explicitly select.
5. Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate any third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, and does not share data with third parties.
6. How Information Is Used
- Provide the colour picking, sampling, and dominant colour extraction features
- Save your colour palettes and preferences locally
- Maintain a local history of palettes you've built or saved
- Let you export or share a palette, only when you choose to
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share personal information with third parties, because the App does not collect personal account data and stores everything locally on your device.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children under 13. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
9. Security
We aim to use reasonable measures to protect the App experience. However, no storage or transmission method is completely secure.
10. Your Choices
- You may delete all locally stored app data, including saved palettes and history, by removing the App from your device.
- You may manage Camera and Photos permissions at any time in iOS Settings → ColorPicker.
11. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Changes become effective when the updated version is posted on this page.
