Two players. One screen. No internet required. Just pure, chaotic button-mashing action.

The sound or haptics aren't working. What should I do?
Check if your device is in Silent Mode (Mute switch on). The game respects system settings. Also, make sure your volume is turned up. For haptics, ensure you are using an iPhone 7 or newer — haptics are disabled in Simulator builds.
Can I play online against other people?
Button Mash is a local multiplayer game (same device) only. Both players tap on the same screen to compete. No WiFi, no Bluetooth, no accounts — just two people and one phone.
How do I win a match?
Player 1 taps the blue button on the left. Player 2 taps the red button on the right. The faster you tap, the harder you pull the rope toward your side. Drag the marker all the way to your end — or simply out-tap your opponent when the timer runs out — and you win.
What are the different game modes?
Classic (10 seconds) — Fast, frantic, and fair. Marathon (20 seconds) — Endurance matters. Pace yourself or burn out. Lightning (5 seconds) — Pure reflexes, nothing else.
Can I play solo?
Button Mash is designed for 2 players on the same device. Grab a friend, family member, or your biggest rival and battle it out!
How does the rivalry tracking work?
Enter your names before each game and the app builds a complete head-to-head record for every pair of players. Every win, loss, and draw is tracked — including peak taps-per-second records and win streaks.
What is the slow-motion finish?
In Classic and Marathon modes, the final seconds of a close match trigger a dramatic slow-motion effect to heighten the tension. Screen shake also intensifies as both players go all out!
